Focus On Flow

Hello hello,

It’s been a minute since our last meditation. After Wednesday’s newsletter, I got a lot of responses from those of you who were craving a dip into ease. No matter how you’re feeling, everyone benefits from a moment of calm.

Here is my offering:

During today’s meditation, we are exploring ease.

Take a moment to position the body so it is comfortable. You may choose to listen to this while doing other things, but make sure the task is relaxed. This time is a brief pause in which we give ourselves space to recenter and focus on what is truly calling in our hearts.

Operating in a state of ease allows us to live in flow. Resistance has no place to hold when we are in this space of being. Living this way allows us to be fluid. Even when obstacles arise, we don’t pitch a tent on their platform, instead we find ways to move over, around and through them with levity.

Just as it is hard to carry large bags slung about our shoulders, we don’t want to live weighed down by the inevitable chaos of past, present and future. The more we are able to let things go, the easier our life experience will be.

When we live in a state of ease, we see all the options.

We are comfortable receiving help and do so with grace.

Your ease doesn’t have to come at the expense of others. You welcome into your sphere those who exist in the flow as well. You are surrounded by those who wish to celebrate you and lift you up when you need reminding. In return, you can be there for others when you have enough energy to do so with genuine presence.

To live in a state of ease, nothing is taken too personally. When other people attempt to saddle you with their burdens, you can set them down and see that they are not yours to carry.

To live in a state of ease you maintain healthy boundaries because it feels good to do so. You know that everyone benefits.

When we trust in ease, even the challenges become manageable.
It is possible to accept events and occurrences, knowing that they too shall pass.

For a moment, imagine the shape of a bird, wings outstretched, moving through the sky.

When a bird is gliding and soaring, it embodies ease. Lightweight wings are angled slightly to move air downward. Wind rebounds, supporting continued flight with a gentle lift. Nothing else needs to happen for a bird to continue to fly. It goes where it wants to, conserving energy along the way.

Just as the bird moves along supported by the atmosphere’s invisible forces, we can be propelled by the energy of the universe, directing it with our attention. Ease is a state of mind, a place that we can access through individual decisions every day. By choosing the option that is most in line with what makes us feel good, we continue to direct energy in the ways that will support us.

In the same way the bird will angle its wings to guide a stream of air, what ever we put out into the universe will come back to us. To live with ease does not mean you are a lazy person, instead you are intentionally experiencing life. Perhaps you take on less, but what you decide to put your energy towards will be worth your time.

The non physical realm revolves around the state of ease.
Our spirit dwells in this place.

When you need to reframe the mind and focus your energy back into the flow, repeat this phrase:

Ease flows through me, with me, and for me.
I am this state of ease

Ease flows through me, with me and for me
I am this state of ease

Ease flows through me with me and for me
I am this state of ease

Wherever you are, you can always redirect. Ease is always there, ready to embrace you. Once you make the decision to operate from a state of ease, the world will continually open up, showing you new ways to move and flow freely.

Everything is always working out for you.

Thank you for joining me today.
I’ll see you next time.
