With Summer packing up its bags, the ground might feel a bit shaky as we transition into Fall. Even when things are going well it can be disorienting, but we need only to reconnect with the center within ourselves.
Today’s meditation prompt is a chance to reconnect with your heart and the eternal peace that resides there.

Before we begin, give yourself a moment to come into the presence of your own being.
The next few minutes, we will give ourselves permission to unwind and release.
You have the capacity to hold so much and be so much. Often we rise to occasions that we didn’t know we were able to. While this can be gratifying, it can also leave us feeling empty, once we have given our all.
In this moment, we can let everything rest.
Through this intentional rest, we widen our circle of relaxation, expanding the peace that lives within us every single day.
Become aware of the breath. See if you can gently lengthen the inhales and exhales. Fill your body with this life force that is always available to you. It is here to sustain you, to ground you and to guide you.
Begin to focus on the center of your heart. Within you is a great power to self restore. The layers of depletion are merely on the surface. They operate only in the finite realm. When we tap into the quiet side of the soul, we can access the bottomless strength that resides within, connecting you to the eternal source of energy.
Imagine the heart center glowing with a soft green light. Feel out the green that speaks to you the most. This green is nurturing like a garden. Its radiance is like a lighthouse, visible in the depths of any night.
You are your own beacon. You are your own anchor. When you feel far from yourself, it is merely an illusion of separation from the limitless you. Give yourself permission to feel the feelings of separation, but know that they are temporary. The only true constant is the being within you.
Continually coming back to this place gives us the strength to carry ourselves through the world with grace. It helps us see that our thoughts are merely visitors, passing through on the conveyor belt of the mind.
They are not the core of our being.
By accessing the space of peace, we transform our thoughtless movements into intentional action.
May we continue to move from the heart, letting it guide our way. If you ever feel too far, you can always glimpse the eternal for it is always waiting here within.
