The Time Has Come
Surprise!
It me, I told you I was taking a break and I will and I mean it!
This newsletter is a loophole because I’m not really counting this week as a break. So far it’s been more of a work week than I intended, infused by a series of strange events: first my catalytic converter was stolen from my car, a huge dead skunk was found on the street outside our house (the general outside still smells days later) some other random acts of chaos happened and then we got rear ended yesterday in Chris’ car.
We had a longstanding plan to drive up to Idyllwild on Thursday and almost cancelled the air bnb last night, but this morning I woke up wanting to take a step back more than ever before.
My point is: taking time is important and I’m actually gonna do it—watch out nonbelievers!
I’m just dropping in here excited to report that 11 meditation tracks, developed from the meditation guide are now available to stream wherever you are!
If you’re someone who has the guide, you can see how these meditations correlate with the chapters. Scan the QR code on page 5 to jump to the tracks!
OR you want to go to them right away
maybe even save them for a rainy day: click here :)
I hadn’t planned on creating these when I wrote the guide, but enough of you asked for them as a way to actively experience the written meditations. It ended up being a process that helped me understand the text better too, as well as give life to new ideas for the coming year.
Guide to Self is meant to reinforce the path back to the largest version of your being. Whether you’ve read the booklet or not, you can jump in to any meditation. It is a companion for the moments when you’re looking for a little reset.
Everything is a soft and fuzzy blur right now, but I’m hoping to follow these up with more full length meditations, as well as another round of personalized meditations in the coming month.
I hope you’re warming into this year, keeping yourself cozy and riding whatever waves may be waving right now!
Sending you the best of my best wishes,
James
